| 1 | William Reed BEATTY 03 Oct 1827 03 Jan 1913 OBITUARY: An Aged Man Gone Died at his home near Fordsville, Ohio County, Kentucky, January 3, 1913, after a short illness. William R. BEATTY, the oldest brother of the late M. M. and A. J. BEATTY, of this county. Uncle Billie was born in Grayson County, October 3, 1827, being 85 years and 9 months old on the day of his death. Besides a wife 82 years old, and six children, he leaves one brother J. R. BEATTY of Breckinridge, two half brothers, Tram BEATTY of Breckinridge Co. and Henry BEATTY of Ohio County. His remains were laid to rest January 4 in the old family burying ground in Hancock County. We extend sympathy to the bereaved family and relatives. May their loss be his gain. | William Reed Beatty

| 8 | According to the Shenandoah County, Virginia Minute Book, on March 10, 1800, Mary Delawter charged Elijah Evans as being the father of her bastard child, and Evans was order to pay 80 dollars. The last will and testament of Lawrence Delawter, the father of Mary Delawter, included Elijah Evans in his will. The family tree that I have in my possession shows Elijah Evans and Rosanne Delawter as being the father and mother of Elijah Evans and that he was adopted by them, however there is no documentation supporting the family tree. | Elijah Evans

| 13 | Captured by the indians about 1759, along with his brothers, Jacob and Gabrial. Taken to Scioto area in what is now Ohio, where his younger brother Gabrial died the first winter. Christopher and Jacob were finally released along with about 200 other settlers in about 1765. His mother and four sisters were killed by the indians during the capture.
